Activites and Kids

Our activities include:
  
* Playhouse: The playhouse is supervised from 10 am to 10 pm during July and August and over holiday weekends.  This fine facility caters for children from 3 years to teenagers and the young at heart.  If you have a child under 2 years you can bring them along and stay with them or hire a baby sitter at a small extra cost .  The play house is purposed built, with outdoor and indoor play space.  Activities occur daily , the children get to know each other in a safe and happy environment.

 

* Indoor: Arts and Craft, reading corner, cartoons, toys , slides face painting, fancy dress, disco, organised games and parties. Snooker, football table, table tennis, films,indoor hockey

* Outdoor: tennis, basketball, football, giant chess and draughts, parachute, outdoor play area, indoor hockey  Tournaments, mini Olympics, races, treasure hunts

 

* Pitch and putt - 9 hole course onsite.

* Lawn and All weather tennis court

* Leisure Centre: 17.5m swimming pool, children’s pool, sauna , steamroom, whirlpool spa , gym

* Beach at the bottom of the drive (2 minute walk) , ideal for swimming , building sand castles, fishing in the rock pools , shell picking, all water sports and just relaxing on a sunny day.

We have a wonderful spa & wellness centre for the adults, it is important to book in advance of arrival to avoid disappointment , the tariff is on the the Ocean Spa page.

 

A residents laundry in the hotel and place to dry your wet suits or walking boots. Mile long sandy beach ( Marble Hill Strand) at the bottom of hotel drive Ideal for all water sports, swimming, kayaking, boating, surfing, snorkeling. Natural water pools, discover small crabs and fish, great for building sandcastles.Try your hand at off shore fishing. Watch out for all the different sea life, from seals, to birds.

 

Tripadvisor - BelfastBigvern  The hotels was very child friendly with the provision of a seperate dining time for the children, outdoor activity centre with staff supervision all day and only 5 minutes walks from an excellent beach.
