Had a brilliant time in the Shandon Hotel. We especially enjoyed the view from our room, the log fire's and the spa! Staff were all very friendly, especially Brian (the night porter) whose craic and chat we very much enjoyed on our second night.

The best thing about the Shandon is its location and setting - all rooms having a fantastic view. We have stayed there on a number of occasions over the past 20 years and the only criicism I would make is that the bathrooms could do with some modernisation.

Thank you all for a wonderfully enjoyable weekend, mainly due to the calibre of the staff throughout the hotel, including the Spa, Kid's Club, Leisure centre, Bar, Restaurant and reception staff. Everyone helped to make our brief stay special and wanting to return ASAP! Unfortunately we will have to wait another year until our son returns to Loch an Iuir Gaeltacht, as this is why we chose the Shandon to stay in. So glad we discovered it! A real Gem! Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay! Missing you already!
